Galen Williams Fellowship Program - In honor of our founder, Galen Williams, and in order to nurture the next generation of leaders for the literary field, Poets & Writers offers three paid fellowships each year. Fellows begin in September and work twenty hours per week through June. For 2015-16, two of the positions are in our New York City headquarters and one is in our satellite office in Los Angeles. Please read each job description carefully and submit a complete application by June 26, 2015. You may apply for more than one posiiton but must submit separate applications.

Joseph F. McCrindle Foundation Online Editorial Fellow (NYC)
The Joseph F. McCrindle Foundation Online Editorial Fellow will work with the editorial department, assisting in the production of content for pw.org. This paid fellowship will provide experience in the production of online content and the management of a dynamic, highly trafficked website. View job description and application instructions.

Diana & Simon Raab Editorial Fellow (NYC)
The Raab Editorial Fellow will work with the editorial department, which is responsible for producing content for Poets & Writers Magazine, pw.org, and Poets & Writers Live. This paid fellowship will provide experience in all aspects of the editorial process involved in the publication of the print magazine and the production of a dynamic, content-rich website. Joseph F. McCrindle Foundation Readings & Workshops Fellow (LA)
In 2015-16, the McCrindle Readings & Workshops Fellow will be based in our Los Angeles office and will support Readings & Workshops (West), which provides matching fees to writers giving public readings and writing workshops throughout California, and in Houston, Seattle, and Tucson. This paid fellowship will provide experience in all aspects of program administration as well as the opportunity to interact with scores of writers and community based organizations that present literary programming for diverse populations.
