The program hosts the Conversations reading series and the Soapbox series, which brings writers to campus to discuss writing and contemporary political issues.

The program will be transitioning from full-residency to a low-residency model in Fall 2024. Residencies will take place in New York City.

For the Fall semester, the priority application deadline for funding is April 15; for general applications the deadline is June 1. For the Spring semester, the priority application deadline for funding is October 15; for general applications the deadline is December 1.
