Daniel Brown’s poems have appeared in Poetry, Partisan Review, Raritan, PN Review  and other journals, and have been anthologized in Poetry 180, (Billy Collins, ed.), Fathers (David Ray, ed.), and other volumes. His collections are Taking the Occasion (winner of the New Criterion Poetry Prize) and What More?. Subjects in Poetry, a literary critical book, is available for pre-order at Amazon.com. He holds a masters degree in musicology from Cornell University, and has taught music history and theory at Cornell and Dartmouth College.
