Editorial Assistant and Audio Editor (Two Positions) (Unpaid)

Late Night Library, the all-hours home for books, is seeking two interns for our growing New York operation:

We are looking for an Editorial Assistant (text and audio) and Audio Editor for commitments of three to five hours per week. Editorial Assistant duties include uploading and posting mp3 files to a podcast hosting platform, uploading and posting supplied images and text to WordPress, emailing featured guests, testing finished posts and audio players, and attending (via Skype) occasional staff meetings. The individual should have experience working with WordPress, as well strong proofreading skills and a commitment to a professional finished product. Personal internet access is essential for this position.

Audio Editor duties include attending monthly literary readings as well recording, editing, and uploading mp3 files through a program of your own choosing or Logic. The ideal candidate possesses audio editing experience, has access to a laptop or Macbook, is comfortable working remotely, and is passionate about literary culture.

Internships are unpaid. College credit available. Please send questions or resumes to Douglas@LateNightLibrary.org.
