Author's Bio

Fred Ferraris is a poet, writer, and actor. His poetry and prose have been widely published in journals, including The Café Irreal, Caveat Lector, Cold Mountain Review, Escape Into Life, Stand, Thieves Jargon, and The Worcestor Review, and have been included in the anthologies, Prayers For A Thousand Years, HarperSanFrancisco and Ginosko 2. His books include Marpa Point, Blackberry Books, Older Than Rain, New and Selected Poems, Selva Editions, and The Durango Chronicles, Book One, Blue Marmot Press. He has been a finalist in the National Poetry Series, a nominee for a Pushcart Prize, and a recipient of the Mark Fischer Award. His film collaboration, Even the Door Must Open, was a selection of the Nolita Film Festival (NYC). He has acted on television, radio, and in roughly forty low-budget and no-budget films.
