Author's Bio

Heather J. Macpherson writes from New England. Her work has appeared in The Carolina Quarterly, Soundings East, Bennington Review, 580 Split, The Best American Poetry Blog, Rougarou, Blueline and other fine publications. Her poem, "Sestina Lot #41994" was nominated for Pushcart Prize by Raduis Lit, and she also was nominated for the 2017 Stanley Kunitz Award (Worcester County Poetry Association). Her chapbook, "The Blue House on Cone Hill Road", a collection of creative nonfiction and poetry was published by Bottlecap Press in February 2024. A co-edited collection of academic essays with Francesca Borrione, Voicing the Less Dead is forthcoming from Lexington Books later this year. She teaches writing at Clark University.
