Author's Bio

Jamie Asaye FitzGerald is a Los Angeles-based poet from Hawaii. She received her BA in English with a creative writing emphasis from the University of Southern California and an MFA in poetry from San Diego State University, where she taught creative writing, literature, and composition. She also has a background as an advertising copywriter. For over a decade, she has worked for Poets & Writers, where she now directs the California office. She is a mother of two and in her spare time enjoys practicing ballet, yoga and piano.
