Author's Bio

Jane Springer's new book, *Murder Ballad* won the 2011 Beatrice Hawley Award and is forthcoming from Alice James Books in May of 2012. She teaches at Hamilton College in upstate New York where she lives with her husband, John Powell, their son Morrison, and their two dogs, Woofus and Georgia.
