Jennifer Renson

Hello, my name is Jennifer Renson.
I graduated from Monmouth University with my Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations/Journalism, with a minor in History. While attending I was the Managing Editor and then Editor-in-Chief of the Monmouth Review Literary Magazine and a contributing writer for The Outlook.
After graduation, I began writing for Lost Treasure Magazine, covering a variety of topics, including that of Captain Kidd, The Library of Alexandria, Richard III, and The Arthur Stone.
I self published three books of poetry and photography: Delightfully Dark: A Collection of Poems and Tales, Eo: Go, walk, ride, sail, pass, travel, and Uncharted.
My other poems have been published in The Idiom Magazine.
My first young adult novel Carousel through Propel, the Young adult section of Pulse LLC (located in North Carolina) will be continuing with a prequel The Cottontail.
I perform at Open Mic events in New Jersey at a variety of locations including: The Saint, Bank on Mattison, Green Planet Coffeehouse. I had the opportunity to be an extra in Chris Rockwell and the Stickball Social Club’s music video “We Don’t Play to Win” and my photography gained attention on Capture the Jersey Shore website.
When I am not writing or reading I enjoy listening to the classical musical scores of Mozart, Schubert, and Brahms, drawing, photography, finding ways to turn my dream into a reality.
I am currently looking for a literary agent, with a online radio interview on the way.
