Author's Bio

I was born, raised and educated in Cambridge, Massachusetts. If I hadn’t left to teach economics in Bolivia as a Peace Corps Volunteer, I’d probably still be there. While working as a research economist and a complex litigation paralegal, I have published short fiction and essays in such distinguished literary journals as Ararat and Caliban as well as in the anthologies The Next Parish Over: A Collection of Irish-American Writing (New Rivers Press, 1993), The Book Group Book (Chicago Review Press, 1995 and 2000) and The Isherwood Century: Essays on the Life and Work of Christopher Isherwood (University of Wisconsin Press, 2000). I also regularly contribute reviews on business, economics and social policy titles to Shelf Awareness (www.Shelf-Awareness.com).
