Author's Bio

John G. Rodwan, Jr., writes personal essays, literary journalism and other nonfiction; he regularly addresses subjects such as boxing, literature and music - often all at once. Raised in Detroit, Michigan, where he currently resides, he earned a master’s degree in English from Wayne State University. He has also lived in Geneva, Switzerland, and Brooklyn, New York, and Portland, Oregon. Since returning to his hometown, he has resumed writing poetry. He has read at Wordstock, the Arkansas Literary Festival and the Scissortail Creative Writing Festival, among other events.
