Author's Bio

Leah Griesmann has received a 2015 Elizabeth George Foundation Grant in Fiction, a 2014 MacDowell Colony Fellowship in Fiction, a 2013 DAAD Grant in Fiction (Berlin), and a 2010-2011 Steinbeck Fellowship in Fiction. Her short stories have appeared in The Weekly Rumpus, Union Station, The Cortland Review, J Journal: New Writing on Justice, and PEN Center USA's The Rattling Wall. Her fiction has been read or performed at the Center for Literary Arts, Sacramento Stories on Stage, Why There Are Words, San Jose Play on Words, and Litquake San Francisco—Original Shorts.
