Author's Bio

Lara Mimosa Montes is the author of The Somnambulist (Horse Less Press, 2016) and Thresholes (Coffee House Press, 2020). Her poems have appeared in Boston Review, Fence, BOMB, Jacket2, and elsewhere. She holds a Ph.D. in English from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. In addition to having been awarded residencies from Shandaken: Storm King and Marble House, she is a 2018 McKnight Writing Fellow and CantoMundo Fellow. She teaches in the English department at the University of Minnesota.
