Her poem “Gratitude List” won the Common Good Books poetry contest and was read by Garrison Keillor on The Writer’s Almanac. She won the Joe Gouveia Outermost Poetry Contest, judged by Marge Piercy. She received "High Commendation" in the McClellan Poetry Prize, judged by David Constantine; Grand Prize, Atlanta Review International Poetry Contest; Milton Kessler Memorial Award, Harpur Palate; Frost Place Fellowship; nominated three times for a Pushcart Prize; The Bunner Award Columbia University.
