Peripatetic by habit, Laura Jean Schneider lives on a ranch outside of Ruidoso, New Mexico, which is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. She has a BA in English from Smith College and is an MFA candidate at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Schneider reviews literary magazines for The Review Review.
