Author's Bio

Marie Abate is a Baltimore-based poet and writer. She has an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. She has been published in a variety of publications, including most recently Weave, Free State Review, The MOM Egg, Sewanee Theological Review, and Crack the Spine. A Pushcart Prize nominee and Best of the Net award winner, she works as both a copywriter for an international e-learning company and as a contributing writer for various magazines.
