Author's Bio

Matt Mendez’s stories have appeared in Alligator Juniper, Cutthroat, PALABRA, PANK, The Literary Review and other journals. He was the winner of Alligator Juniper’s National Fiction Contest and has been a finalist for The Ohio State University Prize in Short Fiction and the Charles Angoff Award. He earned his MFA from the University of Arizona. His first book, “Twitching Heart,” is available from Floricanto Press.
