Author's Bio

Michael Leong teaches in the School of Critical Studies at CalArts. His scholarly book Contested Records: The Turn to Documents in Contemporary North American Poetry was published by the University of Iowa Press in 2020. He has also authored a translation of the Chilean poet Estela Lamat, I, the Worst of All (BlazeVOX [books], 2009), and co-authored, with Ignacio Infante, a translation of Vicente Huidobro's Sky-Quake: Tremor of Heaven (co•im•press, 2020). He is on the advisory board of Journal of Modern Literature.
