His latest book is The Manly Pursuit of Desire and Love; latest novel King of Angels, A Novel About the Genesis of Identity and Belief, finalist for a Ferro-Grumley Award from the Ferro-Grumley Foundation. He has been featured in 30 anthologies, taught workshops, and his more than 70 collaborations with composers have been performed at Carnegie Hall and in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Tokyo.
