Rebecca McClanahan's ten books include The Tribal Knot: A Memoir of Family, Community, and a Century of Change, Deep Light: New and Selected Poems, and a new edition of Word Painting: The Fine Art of Writing Descriptively. McClanahan teaches in the MFA programs of Queens University and Rainier Writers Workshop.
