Author's Bio

Rebecca Morgan Frank's fourth collection of poems is Oh You Robot Saints! (Carnegie Mellon, 2021). Her previous collections are Sometimes We're All Living in a Foreign Country and The Spokes of Venus, both from Carnegie Mellon University Press, and  Little Murders Everywhere (Salmon 2012), a finalist for the 2013 Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Her awards and honors includes a Meier Achievement Award,Poetry Society of America's Alice Fay di Castagnola Award, an AWP Intro Journal Award, and fellowships from such places as the Sewanee Writers Conference, the Virginia Center for Creative Arts, the Writers' Room of Boston, the Ragdale Foundation, and the Mississippi Arts Commission. Her poems have appeared in The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, The Harvard Review, New England Review, Ploughshares, The Kenyon Review, Guernica, Orion, Pleiades, Poetry Northwest, Poetry Ireland, 32 Poems, Academy of America Poets Poem-A Day, the Slowdown podcast, and elsewhere. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Memorious: A Journal of New Verse and Fiction. A former Poet in Residence at Brandeis University and Distinguished Visiting Writer at Bowling Green State University, she is a visiting writer in the MFA program at OSU Cascades and teaches in Northwestern University's MFA program in Prose & Poetry. She serves on the board of the National Book Critics Circle.
