Susan Cohen

I've been a newspaper reporter, magazine writer, columnist,and book reviewer. I've been a contributing writer to the Washington Post Magazine, a faculty member of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism,and winner of the National Association of Science Writers Science in Society Award. In 2009, I co-authored "Normal at Any Cost: Tall Girls, Short Boys, and the Medical Industry's Quest to Manipulate Height" (Tarcher/Penguin) with a book award from the Fund for Investigative Journalism. But since I returned to my first love, poetry, while on a Knight Fellowship at Stanford University, poems are what I've most enjoyed reading and writing. Soon, I hope poetry is all the news I need.
