The 2023 Texas Book Festival was held from November 11 to November 12 in downtown Austin. The festival featured panels and discussions with more than 250 authors and hosts nearly 100 exhibitors. Participating authors included poet and nonfiction writer Roger Reeves; fiction writer Elizabeth Crook; and fiction and nonfiction writers Stacey Abrams, Ann Patchett, Abraham Verghese, and Jacqueline Woodson. Accessibility accommodations included public transportation within 600 feet of the venue; elevators in all multilevel event spaces; accessible sidewalks, pathways, and doorways; accessible bathrooms; reserved seating at the front of venues and along aisles; accessible parking; and ASL interpretation at large venues and by advance request.
