Editorial Focus:

harlequin creature is a journal sure to be unconventional in today’s overwhelmingly digital age, and, at the same time, very much in touch with a nostalgia for an earlier era, when the factories of pittsburgh and detroit were still bumpin’ and steel was in. with a circle of friends that spans from los angeles to ann arbor to new york, every single journal is hand typed on high quality paper. each copy is then hand bound, and a limited number include artwork by a featured artist.

Tips From the Editor:

because all text is typed on typewriters by volunteers, there is the chance that inadvertent changes to your work may occur during the typing process. to that end, please keep in mind the nature of this publication as you consider submitting. the format of harlequin creature is very unique and each issue is entirely hand made — this means that there are no two identical copies. spelling errors or other irregularities may crop up in a bound and finished journal.
