Editorial Focus
Temenos Journal seeks to publish the very best new fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and literary essays by established and emerging writers. All manuscripts are given full consideration. The editors suggest writers first familiarize themselves with Temenos before they submit.
Only previously unpublished work will be considered. They do accept simultaneous submissions but ask that writers inform the editors immediately if their work is accepted elsewhere. Please read the submission guidelines carefully.

Send submissions via our submissions management system (Submittable). Please include a brief cover letter, contact information, and a brief third person bio. If a piece is accepted, Temenos retains first publishing rights, as well as the right to reprint the piece in any “Best of” editions of the magazine. After publication, all rights revert back to the author.
