Editorial Focus

BatCat Press publishes limited handbound editions of awesome poetry and prose. They aim to publish books, chapbooks, and broadsides that are the perfect combination of excellent writing and interesting design. Part of their mission is to provide students a unique behind-the-scenes experience in publishing. The press is staffed and operated by students of Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Midland, Pennsylvania.

Tips From the Editor

Quirky is good, quality is key. We especially like work that is intelligent and that will appeal to a broad audience. We welcome submissions of all genres, styles, and forms, whether conventional or hard-to-describe. Multimedia submissions are welcome but must include a strong writing element. Submissions may be of any length, but must be able to “stand alone.”
