Editorial Focus

Two Lines Press gives American readers the opportunity to read some of the great work from outside borders that they would not otherwise get to see. As the barriers between cultures continue to come down and more authors find inspiration in foreign lands, there’s all the more reason to read the world.

Tips From the Editor

Two Lines Press is only a translation publisher. We do not publish works originally written in English, and we do not publish works where the author is also the translator. We are interested in literary fiction—books that are driven by voice or style over plot or content. We currently do not publish collections of poetry, but hope to change that someday. Check the website occasionally for updates. The best way to get a sense of what we’re interested in is to check out our books, our journal Two Lines, or representative work on our website.
