Beth Cagle Burt, Senior editor of prose journal moonShine review, says “Writing and photography are my passions. Not only do I love to create artful poems, prose, and photos, but also I enjoys experiencing an array of eclectic literary and photo artistry, which makes editing a definitive pleasure" Beth has served as a newspaper reporter, college educator, and writing consultant. She has received several poetry awards including first place in the Shadows Ink bi-annual competition for her poetry chapbook, The Fearless Tattoo. Other poetry awards for individual pieces include first place prizes to honorable mentions in state and national contests. In 2015, Main Street Rag Publishing Company solicited and published her full-length poetry book First Comes Love.
