Author's Bio

Carolyn Banks has a l ong and continuous publishing career. She's primarily known for her novels and has just completed (July, 2019) a thriller entitled Certain Children. She's had innumerable short stories published as well. She's written screenplays, including the feature-length horror movie, Invicta and a feature-length documentary, The Fire and has also written and directed a number of short films (including the one embedded here, "Sex and the Septuagenarian"). She writes a monthly humor column called "Piece of Mind" for her local paper, Bastrop Advertiser. She is a member of Authors Guild, Writers League of Texas, Austin Film Society and Texas Institute of Letters.
