Author's Bio

Coty Poynter is a writer from Baltimore, Maryland. His work has been published in Black Fox Literary Magazine, Equinox, Grub Street, and various other outlets. His second poetry collection, Delirium: Poems, was published in October 2018 by Bowen Press. He was the creative nonfiction editor at Mud Season Review, an international literary journal run by members of the Burlington Writers Workshop, a free writing workshop based in Vermont. He is a contributor for Write or Die Tribe, a digital space for writers who seek creative and literary connections, where he writes essays on craft and does the occasional interview. He is a current graduate student at Towson University in the Professional Writing program. He lives in Baltimore with his partner Carly, their cat Pudge, their dog Tycho, and a hodgepodge of plants.
