Author's Bio

Author of five book collections with New Rivers Press, Kelsay Press, Is A Rose Press, and Word Poetry, as well as six chapbooks. Ann Stanford Poetry Prize winner, several state arts board awards, a MacDowell Colony fellowship, and Milwaukee dance company performances of several poems. Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin--Whitewater.  Most recent book prize is the Edna Meudt Book Award (2022) from the Council of Wisconsin Writers.
