Author's Bio

Donna Obeid is an award-winning author and educator. She has been nominated multiple times for the Pushcart Prize and has received writing prizes from the Julia Peterkin Literary Awards, New Flash Fiction Review Award, Raymond Carver Short Story Contest, and Seventeen Magazine’s Fiction Contest. Donna earned a BA in English and Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MA and MFA from American University where she was a teaching fellow. She grew up in a suburb outside of Detroit, has worked and lived in Southeast Asia and North Africa, and currently lives in California.
