Author's Bio

Joanne Durham is the author of To Drink from a Wider Bowl, winner of the 2021 Sinclair Poetry Prize. Her chapbook, On Shifting Shoals, is forthcoming from Kelsay Books. Her poetry appears or will appear in Poetry South, Poetry East, Calyx, Third Wednesday, Chautauqua, Quartet, Juniper, Gyroscope, Verse Virtual, Yellow Arrow, Kosmos Quarterly and numerous other journals and anthologies. She is an Associate Editor at Evening Street Press. A retired educator, she lives on the North Carolina coast, with the ocean as her backyard and muse.
