Author's Bio

Karen George is author of five chapbooks, and the poetry collections: Swim Your Way Back (2014), A Map and One Year (2018), Where Wind Tastes Like Pears (2021), and forthcoming Caught in the Trembling Net (2024). She received grants from Kentucky Foundation for Women and Kentucky Arts Council, earned a BS in Computer Science, an MFA from Spalding University, and worked as a computer programmer/analyst. Her poetry has appeared in Valparaiso Poetry Review, South Dakota Review, Naugatuck River Review, I-70 Review, Verse Daily, and Poet Lore. She reviews poetry at Poetry Matters blog.
