I was born and raised in Washington State. After 5 years as an independent bookseller in Seattle, I moved to Saigon for 4 years and have been traveling back to the region for more than 20. I am also the author of Communion: A Culinary Journey Through Vietnam, and I am the creator and editor of the To Asia With Love guidebook series.
