Author's Bio

Lee Varon’s poetry has been published in various journals and anthologies and nominated for Pushcart Prizes. In 2017 she published her chapbook, Affairs Run in the Family, with Finishing Line Press. In 2018, she won the Sunshot Press Poetry Prize for Shot in the Head. She is the co-editor of Spare Change News Poems: An Anthology by Homeless People and Those Touched by Homelessness. She won the Encircle Publications 2018 Poetry Chapbook contest for Letters to a Pedophile. In 2021, she published the children's book My Brother is Not a Monster: A Story of Addiction and Recovery. Her forthcoming poetry book The Last Bed will be published by Finishing Line Press in 2024. She is a social worker in the Boston area.
