Author's Bio

Marjorie Hanft taught psychology at Eastern Illinois University for 27 years after working as a clinical counselor in both university counseling and substance disorder treatment.She has also taught college level courses in composition and rhetoric. She earned her BA from Beloit College, MA in Creative Writing from Brown University, and Counseling MA from the University of Oklahoma.Hanft's poems have appeared in such  journals as Alte, Calyx, Cauldron Anthology, First Literary Review-East, Humana Obscura, Mississippi Valley Review, Muddy River Poetry Review, Persimmon Tree, Unleash Lit, and various anthologies. She belongs to the online NY based poetry collective, Brevitas.
