Author's Bio

I am a poet, writer and teacher. My publications include No Border is Perennial, (Dos Madres Press, 2015) two chapbooks, Tugboat Warrior (Dos Madres Press, 2013), and Reading The White Spaces (Finishing Line Press, 2009) and poems in journals including Common Ground Review, Eclectica, Talisman, Westchester Review, Evening Street Review, and the award-winning anthology A Slant of Light: Women Poets of the Hudson Valley (Codhill Press, 2013). My poems about visual art have been performed at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art.
I teach the popular Enjoying Poetry series, now in its fifth year at the Scarsdale Adult School, as well as workshops in poetry writing. I am manager of the Poetry Caravan, a volunteer organization of 30 poets who bring poetry to the community.
