Author's Bio

Frances Justine Post is the author of Beast (Augury Books 2014). She received her MFA in poetry from Columbia University and her PhD in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Houston. She is the recipient of the Inprint Paul Verlaine Poetry Prize from the University of Houston, the “Discovery” / Boston Review Poetry Prize, the Amy Award from Poets & Writers Magazine, and a year-long residency from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC). Her poems have recently appeared in American Letters & Commentary, Boston Review, Denver Quarterly, The Kenyon Review Online, Pleiades, Western Humanities Review, Verse Daily, and others. She lives in the Hudson Valley.
