Author's Bio

Marian Haddad is a poet/writer/ lecturer/creative writing workshop instructor/visiting writer/keynote speaker/and manuscript & publishing consultant who has published two full length poetry collections (Pecan Grove) and a chapbook of poems invited by Texas Public Radio. Her clients/students have a high success rate in publishing & placing/winning literary/book awards. Works in progress include a book of poems, IN THIS CITY OF SAINTS and a book of personal essays, THESE LANGUAGES INSIDE OUR HOUSE. She holds a BA [UTEP] & MFA [San Diego State] in creative writing. She's an NEH recipient to study philosophy at U of Notre Dame & studied the prose poem @ Emerson. Her 2004 collection approached a 5th printing and was a Small Press Distribution notable book.
