The Publishing Triangle, a 15 year-old New York-based association of lesbian and gay authors, is sponsoring PINK INK: The Queer Book Expo on June 7. To be held at the LGBT Center in New York City, PINK INK offers an opportunity for both readers and writers to build support for lesbian and gay authors and increase awareness of lesbian and gay literature.

The day-long schedule of events includes book browsing, author signings, workshops, master classes, literary walking tours, and a cocktail party. "We plan to champion our literary heritage as well as to celebrate the dynamic voices being published today," says Charles Flowers, Publishing Triangle co-chair.

All proceeds of PINK INK will help fund the literary awards given annually to gay and lesbian authors by the Publishing Triangle.
