Author's Bio

Originally from Pennsylvania, Alicia Hoffman currently lives, writes and teaches in Rochester, New York. Nominated many times for the Pushcart Prize, her poems have appeared in a variety of journals and anthologies. She is the author of the full-length collections "Railroad Phoenix" (Kelsay Books, 2015) and "Like Stardust in the Peat Moss" (Aldrich Press, 2013). In 2015 she earned her MFA in Poetry and Pedagogy from the Rainier Writing Workshop at Pacific Lutheran University. Her new book, ANIMAL, is forthcoming from Futurecycle Press.
