Author's Bio

Carissa Halston's award-winning fiction has appeared in Fourteen Hills, The Massachusetts Review, Willow Springs, and elsewhere. She has received honors and grants for her fiction from The Cincinnati Review, The Writers’ Room of Boston, The New York Book Festival, The Wesleyan Writers Conference, Eastern Washington University, San Francisco State University, and University of Massachusetts Boston, among others.

In addition to writing, Halston has been a prose editor for AGNI, and she currently edits and designs books for apt, a literary journal, and Aforementioned Productions, an award-winning independent press.

She currently lives in Boston and is at work on a novel, Conjoined States.
