Author's Bio

Holly Wotherspoon writes poetry and, previously, articles and training materials for the legal profession. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in various print and online journals. Holly is a third generation Californian by way of three decades in the Pacific Northwest. She has a law degree from Seattle University, a B.A. in environmental conservation from University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a certified naturalist, art docent, and mediator. Holly is currently working on her first book length collection of poetry, In the House of Birds. She is a featured poet at River Town Poets, (where she made her poetry debut in 2015) which is still her favorite place to read and listen to poets.
 She regularly attends writing workshops in Northern California, including the Point Reyes Field Institute. In her free time, she practices law in Sonoma County, California.
