Author's Bio

Jackie Sizemore is a writer, educator, and entrepreneur. With no hometown to speak of, she comes from the Rustbelt, the South, and Tokyo. Creative nonfiction has previously appeared in Citron Review, Mojo/Mikrokosmos, Eastern Iowa Review,  Ravishly's Long Reads, and Crab Orchard Review. Fiction has appeared in Paper Darts and Opossum and her poetry has appeared in Noble / Gas Qtrly and Print Oriented Bastards. Her novel-in-progress was a finalist for the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, her nonfiction was longlisted for the 2018 and 2019 Alpine Fellowship, and her lyric essay "Gaijin" was listed as a Notable Essay in the Best American Essays 2018.
