Author's Bio

James Hannon is a psychotherapist in Massachusetts where he accompanies adolescents and adults recovering from addictions, traumas, and mood disorders. He was formerly a professor of sociology at Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, and Dartmouth College.  His poetry, non-fiction and fiction have appeared in Blue Lake Review, Cold Mountain Review, Psaltery and Lyre, Soundings East, South Florida Poetry Journal and other journals and in Gathered: Contemporary Quaker Poets. He has two poetry collections, The Year I Learned the Backstroke, (Aldrich Press, 2014)  and To My Children at Christmas (Kelsay Books, 2022)
