Author's Bio

Born in Detroit in 1970, Joseph Helminski received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from Wayne State University. He has taught writing and literature courses at Wayne State, the University of Toledo, and since 2006 at Oakland Community College in Oakland County, Michigan. He is working on his third book of poems.
