Author's Bio

I've worked abroad in various capacities with USIS.   I concurrently held tenured lectureships with the Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Political University, both of the Republic of China.  I subsequently spent a number of years with the State Administration of Foreign Experts in the People’s Republic of China, primarily in the so-called Red Zone of Hunan and Jiangxi Provinces.  I received but declined a one-year appointment to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.  I'm a graduate of University of Dallas.
