Matt Vekakis is an MFA student in poetry at the University of Florida. His recent work has appeared in Prairie Schooner, Southern Humanities Review, Atlanta Review, Welter, and Appalachian Review, among others. In 2022, he was named a finalist of Great River Review’s Pink Poetry Prize.
