Author's Bio

Michelle Hartman’s full-length books, Disenchanted and Disgruntled, Irony and Irreverence, from Lamar University Literary Press, The Lost Journal of my Second Trip to Purgatory, and Wanton Disarray are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. She is the author of three chapbooks, There are no Doors, (Out of Print), First Night, (Red Flag Press), and Doors, (Dancing Girl Press). Her fourth chapbook “Anthropomorphism for Fun and Profit won the John and Miriam Morris Memorial Chapbook Contest.  Hartman’s work has been published in multiple journals, anthologies, as well as many countries overseas. She is the former editor of Red River Review. Hartman holds a BS in Political Science-Pre-Law from Texas Wesleyan University and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Tarrant County College. She was named Distinguished Alumni by TCC.  She is a member of Pi Gamma Mu, Pi Sigma Alpha and Phi Theta Kappa.
